Kerry Wood

Kerry Wood has been the face, good or bad, of the Cubs franchise ever since he came on the scene with a big splash with 20 strikeout in a game in 1998. After several trips to the DL, in 2007, Kerry re-emerged as a power reliever. In 2008, Kerry won the closers job during Spring Training and the results have been spectacular. In fact, they were so good that Kerry was named to the NL All Star team as a closer. Here is a picture I took of Kerry during a game in June of 2008.
