Alfonso Soriano
The Cubs made a big investment in a player when they signed Alfonso Soriano to a 8 year contract before the 2007 season. So far, it is paying off with a divisional championship in 2007, his 1st year with the Cubs. Here he is advancing to 2nd base during a 2008 game.
