Sean Gallagher

During the off season before the 2008 season, Sean Gallaghers name was being mentioned as a central piece of different trades, but when the season began, Sean was still the property of the Chicago Cubs. In May and June, this turned out to be a good thing. Gallagher stepped into the starting rotation when Carlos Zambrano was disabled and helped improve the back portion of the Cubs starting pitching. In doing so well, he proved he was a Major League pitcher. Well, the Oakland A's noticed also, and Sean was included in the trade that brought Rich Harden to the Cubs.
