Andre Dawson



The Hawk wanted to play for the Cubs so bad that he came to Dallas Green with a blank contract in 1987. He told him to fill in the dollar amount and he would play for anything Green decided to pay himWhen he was signed, Dawson responded with a MVP season. Here he is batting at Wrigley during 1987.
